Main Act vs Musora: Instrument Lessons or Connected Artist Practice?

Musora brings Drumeo, Pianote, Guitareo, PlayBass, and Singeo into one membership with lessons, follow-along practice, learning paths, progress features, live sessions, and community surfaces. Its current official catalog should be checked for exact inclusions.

Free daily practice is available. No card required. After signup, we’ll open the recommended school.

How they differ

Start with how you prefer to learn.

Main Act takes a different shape: one adaptive practice plan across vocals, songwriting, and repertoire. It overlaps with Musora on vocals, is distinct on songwriting, and is absent on instrument play (no piano/drums/guitar instruction). The training surface is also different: Main Act is interactive drills and adaptive sessions, not video courses.

Choose Musora when instrument-specific instruction, follow-along sessions, and teacher-led video are central. Choose Main Act when you want interactive work across vocals, songwriting, and repertoire in one Artist practice record.

Recommendation

Which one should you choose?

Musora is the clearer fit for video-led instrument instruction and follow-along practice. Main Act does not teach piano, drums, or guitar and should not be presented as a substitute for those paths.

Main Act's strength is the connective tissue around instrument play. You learn piano on Pianote, then come to Main Act to train your voice, write your own song, and add the song to your daily repertoire. The two are complementary, not competitive.

If you can only pick one and your goal is to learn a specific instrument, pick the relevant Musora path. If you can only pick one and your focus is singing, songwriting, or maintaining a repertoire, pick Main Act.

If you're an adult musician serious about your overall development, both fit naturally in a stack: Musora for instrument instruction, Main Act for everything else.

Frequently asked questions

Does Main Act teach guitar, piano, or drums?

No. Main Act doesn't include instrument lessons. The repertoire school helps you maintain a personal song library; the other schools cover the skills around playing (singing and songwriting).

Is Main Act cheaper than Musora All-Access?

Offers change, so this page does not freeze a winner in copy. Compare Main Act’s linked current one-system offer with Musora’s official pricing, then choose based on whether you want instrument lessons or the Main Act practice system.

Can I use both?

Yes. Many serious musicians use Musora for instrument practice and Main Act for the surrounding disciplines (singing, songwriting, repertoire).
